Saudi ICOMOS

ICOMOS Saudi Arabia, a branch of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), is responsible for the promotion and protection of cultural and architectural heritage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. ICOMOS was established with the aim of protecting heritage monuments and sites and ensuring their sustainability for future generations.

ICOMOS Saudi Arabia operates as part of an international network that brings together experts and professionals in the field of heritage preservation, and seeks to provide consultations and studies related to the protection of archaeological and historical sites.

In collaboration with the Royal Commission for AlUla and stakeholders, ICOMOS Saudi Arabia is organizing the “AlUla Symposium for Fire Risk Management in Heritage and Historic Sites.”
